Vivahard.
Circular  Retail Solution.

Transforming fast-fashion waste into durable design systems for the furniture and retail markets.


One of the major challenges of the contemporary fashion industry is the management of waste generated by fast fashion. This waste is composed of highly heterogeneous textile blends, often combining multiple synthetic fibers with no standardization, making conventional recycling processes extremely complex.

Within this context, Vivahard explores the transformation of post-consumer garments into a rigid composite material, enabling the design of durable furniture and retail equipment. The project was developed in collaboration with Vivaluz, with the objective of creating material systems that are both industrially viable and circular by design.

Strategic Takeaway

          Designing with heterogeneous waste requires a deep understanding of material origin. By allowing material behavior and manufacturing constraints to inform the design system, we created a scalable, circular solution that turns an environmental liability into a durable design asset.
