Material Narratives & “The Strata” collection.
Composite materials hold the key to transforming waste into value, provided we engineer their reintegration into the circular stream with some level of traceability.
Inspired by archaeological stratigraphy, this collection treats each material sample as a geological artifact. Each 'strata' reveals a specific moment in time: a layer of post-consumer waste compressed into a new, durable history. .
Note: Specific formulations and manufacturing parameters are proprietary and protected under patents.
RTS Orange Textile
This material begins where fashion ends. Post-consumer textiles compressed with recycled plaster, food industry waste, and metal scraps (bound with a proprietary bio-resin) produce a rigid, fire-resistant composite that carries the visual memory of everything it absorbed.
Composition & Process
- Feedstock: Post consumer fashion + Recycled plaster (urban mining) + Recycled food industry waste + Metal scraps
- Binder: Propietary bio-resin. Sourced by social commited associations.
- Output: Composite material, rigid and fire resistant.
- Constraints: Moisture sensibility, industrial process optimization. Norms and architecture standards.
- Potential: Furniture, wall tiling, retail equipment, interiors.

RTS Recycled Ash
Ash is the material memory of combustion. This composite combines post-consumer fashion waste with recycled ash from wood processing and incineration byproducts . The result is a dense, black-surfaced material that reads as geological rather than manufactured and can be declined into gradients.

- Feedstock: Post consumer fashion + Recycled plaster (Urban Mining) + Recycled ash. (Wood & recycling/Incinerating industry byproduct).
- Binder: Propietary bio-resin. Sourced by social commited associations.
- Output: Composite material, rigid and fire resistant. Black color

Reversible Bonding: The Water-Solluble Link.
Most adhesives are a one-way decision. This bio-based, water-soluble binder enables multilayered composite products that can be fully separated at end-of-life, making circularity a material property, not a brand claim.

Enabling packaging separability and circularity by chesmistry. Multilayered products that can be separated at end-of-life with this biobased glue.
- Feedstock: Wood industry byproduct (Panel manufacturing).
- Property: Water solluble reversible
- Application: Multimaterial packaging
- Strength limit: 10 kg.f pull strength (cubic bodies) / 15 kg.f pull strength (curved bodies). Minimal value stated by packaging requirement charts to have a go 10 kg.f
- Status: Validated for industrial use. Test done by BROCHOT packaging manufacturer.

Ephemeral events waste
Events generate enormous material waste with no designed afterlife. This composite captures décor manufacturing offcuts and binds them with a biobased thermo-stable resin, producing a multicolored, semi-flexible material whose surface carries the visual record of its origin.

- Feedstock: Ephemeral decor manufactu
- Binder: Propietary biobased thermo stable resin.
- Output: Composite material, rigid, multicoloured with a certain flexibility.
- Constraints: Waste with different origins and states. Burning due to excess of temperature while processing.
- Potential: Furniture, wall tiling, retail equipment, interiors
