Texture design.
For recycled plastics.
A downside of post-consumer recycled resins is the difficulty in achieving high-quality surface finishes. Roctool's patented "Heat & Cool" technology, however, allows near-perfect mould surface replication using 100% PCR resins without virgin plastic, eliminating the need for painting and reducing its carbon footprint. As a result, I've been tasked with designing high-end textures and intricate graphics for engraving the mould, enhancing the surface quality of recycled plastic products.
